职位描述
? Manage tooling related projects for Hunter Douglas products from the beginning stages of development through the final stage of production. ? Work closely with customers and design engineers by providing engineering support regarding molding and tooling issues. ? Make tooling construction recommendations such as recommended cavitation, and type of tool (hot runner, three plate, unscrewing, type of steel etc.). ? Assist in the initial mold design, by ensuring that all prototype and production molds are constructed at the highest level of quality, and are capable of producing close tolerance, high production plastic injected molded components. ? Acquire quotes for new molds; choose suppliers and purchase tooling from domestic or foreign suppliers. ? Coordinate mold revisions and repairs with local outside mold shops. ? Provide engineering support for existing product by troubleshooting molding issues. ? Work with toolmakers by giving direction and assistance in troubleshooting, implementing Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and brainstorming ways to reduce or eliminate mold damage. ? Follow, support and implement ISO procedures, FOE Teams, VPP, PPE and 6S.
招聘要求
? Bachelors Degree in Plastic related field OR Journey Level credentials in the field of Mold Design and/or Mold Making and 10 years verifiable experience OR 20 years verifiable experience in a mold making/design environment ? 5-years verifiable experience in project/program management ? Computer literate – familiar with Microsoft Office products ? Able to manipulate CADD data – Unigraphics Software a plus ? Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required <10% . ? Travel may be required
